In July of this year I was delighted to be able to cover the Glasgow Pride Festival . A huge turnout for the parade with floats aplenty and a well publicised awareness of the event ( helped by the fact that First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was the Official Marshall for the parade Here is a small selection of images taken at the Glasgow Pride Parade – there were unicorns , rainbows , tartans ; politicians (including First Minister Nicola Sturgeon , ) ; banners ; discussions , hugs , smiles , banter , dogs galore ,some fantastic outfits , many rainbow flags and glitter but most of all – there was happiness and a fantastic carnival atmosphere – as well as glorious Glasgow sunshine ….
